Refreshing Lemonade
Ingredients:
Juice of 2 lemons (about 1/3 cup)
Equal parts lemon juice and maple syrup ( about 2/3 cups total)
Add filtered or purified water to make 3-4 cups total
2+ Dashes or pinches of cayenne to taste
Steps:
Use a glass 4-cup measuring cup or 1 quart canning jar to mix the ingredients, then refrigerate and sip or guzzle! It’s really good. Add less water for a stronger tasting drink.

Val’s 3 B’s Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 cup frozen blueberries
2 small peeled and steamed beets (I buy these pre-packaged and shrink-wrapped)
½ cup fresh organic raw broccoli, chopped
1 peeled kiwi fruit or orange
1 teaspoonful (more or less to taste) of honey
2 tablespoons cold pressed extra virgin olive oil
1 cup whole organic or grass-fed cow’s milk
Steps:
Place all ingredients in a blender cup
Blend in a blender for 30-60 seconds.
